These companies are required to abide by the same restrictions and provisions regarding confidentiality as required by law that prohibit using the information outside the performance of the specific services on your behalf. All personal information is restricted to those internal employees who need access to it to provide services as described in the Warranty Terms And Conditions. While we take necessary precautions to protect your personal information from unauthorized access and/or disclosure, we cannot guarantee or ensure the security of the information you transmit to us, and therefore, we recommend that you take all necessary precautions to protect your personal data when you are on the internet. All physical documentation is shredded after processing by a professional outside contractor who provides us with a certificate of destruction. If you choose to purchase or renew your warranty with a credit or debit card, that information is destroyed immediately after the charge is processed.

Information Obtained Through Our Website
When logging onto UHP’s website, your IP address is kept in a log file by UHP’s internet service provider. Those logs are not encrypted and are copied to their secure web statistics server for analysis and kept for a minimum of 12 months. This procedure is utilized to track and report all UHP website activity. UHP’s ISP does not share the logs with anyone outside of themselves or UHP.
