I have used this company several times for several repairs and each one has been handled efficiently and effectively.

Within 10 days of moving into our new home, we had a plumbing leak in our full bathroom. Thanks to our home warranty, all we paid was the $75 deductible. I called at 8 am and within an hour I had a plumber here solving our problem. We were so grateful!

I couldn’t ask for more out of my UHP home warranty. I had a few unexpected problems while my home was for sale, which led to UHP replacing my furnace and my water softener. I am so glad I included the home warranty with the sale of my home. Not only did I benefit from the coverage, but my buyers were also covered for a year after the closing. UHP really kept me worry free during that busy, hectic time.

I gave UHP a call and someone was out to repair it the next day. They gave me the option to have my current fridge fixed or gave me credit towards a new one. I chose to buy new and they reimbursed me within a week and a half. Great company. Would highly recommend!!

Woke up New Years Day and the furnace was out. I couldn’t figured it out so I called UHP. I left a message and got a call back within an hour. The person was very helpful and had a repairman out to the house in 30 min. The guy fixed it in a half hour. I wrote the repairman a check for $85 and that was it. Just to have an HVAC serviceman come on a holiday is at least $120 to ring your doorbell. Excellent service

Called them about a leaking water heater at 8:00 AM and there is now a brand new heater installed before noon! The representative that I spoke with was polite and efficient. My cost for this $800 job was the $85 deductible and $20 for a city permit. Couldn’t be happier!

Woke up to a cold house, thermostat was set at 78 furnace would not heat the house over 59. called Universal Home they sent a fellow out to look at it he said it needed too may parts so they put in a NEW furnace at no charge other than my deductable. UHP was very prompt in handling the claim for my water heater. They sent out a plumber the same day I called and the contractor found that the water heater couldn’t be fixed. My water heater was replaced and all I had to pay was my deductible. Thanks UHP!

A week after we moved in our furnace started leaking water. We contacted UHP and they had a contractor out the same day. He replaced a drain pan and coil for the air conditioner and we only paid our deductible. Then just a week later we noticed another leak, and this time it was our water softener. We called UHP again, and they told us how to turn the softener off and had a contractor out the next day. When my husband and I got home from work our water softener was replaced. Without UHP, we would’ve had to pay thousands of dollars that we didn’t have within the first month of owning our very first home. I will never own a home without a UHP warranty!

No home should be sold without one. Seller, buyer and agent all win. It is becoming an industry standard to provide a warranty and UHP sets the bar, so why not go with the best? No more calls from angry buyers because their furnace breaks down or they have no hot water. They’rrrre Grrrrrreeeeeaaaatttt!

I give UHP an A+ for service.  Customer service was absolutely phenomenal!  My circuit breaker went out on the weekend.  I didn’t have electricity or heat.  The electrician came out Saturday afternoon.  If I didn’t have the warranty, I would have waited days to get service

Most people think that these home warranty policies are just for the protection of a buyer for the first year after a home purchase. We have renewed the policies for our home and our rental properties annually because it provides us with protection from sudden major expenses. It is also nice to have a contact who is familiar with our properties and any past problems we’ve had so that there is some ‘continuity of care.’ When one of our tenants calls in the middle of the night to say that their heat is not working, we make only one call to UHP and we know that the problem will be taken care of promptly. We’ve depended on UHP for years.
