A Seller warranty is risk-free coverage through the listing period — your seller pays nothing if the home doesn’t sell, even if we’ve already repaired or replaced something. Coverage begins on an active listing after we receive and accept the application, and transfers to the buyer at closing for one full year.
A warranted listing is more attractive to buyers and helps you sell faster and closer to asking price. UHP’s Ultimate Warranty also covers unknown pre-existing conditions, seller HVAC, and goes into effect for the seller when requested by the buyer as part of the sale.
A Buyer warranty becomes effective on the closing date and remains in effect for one full year. Don’t let your buyers get stuck with unexpected repair or replacement costs right after moving in — with UHP they’re covered for mechanical failures due to normal wear and tear.
You can sign up right at the closing table — we just need application and payment within 10 days after closing. Add the Ultimate Buyer Warranty prior to closing to cover any unknown pre-existing conditions discovered after closing. Anyone can request a buyer warranty, so don’t be shy about offering it.
Is your buyer purchasing a newly constructed home with a builder’s warranty? The Elite New Construction Warranty can be purchased at closing. Coverage begins on the first anniversary of closing — exactly when the builder’s warranty expires — and remains in effect for three full years.
Have a client who wants coverage but isn’t currently buying or selling? Anyone can purchase a Basic or Elite Homeowner Direct Warranty at any time — for a primary home or income property. Coverage goes into effect 30 days after initial payment is received and remains in effect for 13 months.
